The whole hotel is brilliant!!!!!! The history of the building, the tasteful decorations of the rooms, the added luxury touches, excellent fine dining and surrounded by wide open countryside. A perfectly wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of life!
It is not near to where I live so that I could use the health spa and restaurant more often.
We liked everything about fawsley hall
Shower very poor no power very low pressure just a dribble.
We came to a wedding and thought it was the perfect setting for such an occasion. Our room in the Hall was beautiful and probably the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in !! Absolutely fantastic scenery and surrounding countryside outstanding - would love to visit again and explore.
Old world courtesy and charm. Excellent Christmas decorations. Spectacular Grand Hall Efficiency of Reservation staff in meeting my requests, particularly altering the dining numbers at a late stage and providing a round table.
Food in the restaurant overpriced Selection of cooked food at breakfast very poor.(No offer of poached or fried eggs or fish) Sevice of breakfast staff poor (Would prefer a pot of coffee/tea rather than staff circulating very infrequently with flasks of Coffee/Tea where the item served was cold and of inferior quality)
The location is lovely.
Very pricey for everyday food.
Authentic period property worthy of any reason for stay
Drinks can be expensive
Impressive building. Rooms were spacious and quiet
Staff were not that friendly. No mobile phone reception on Orange and food was not to the high standard that was advertised.
Lots of history comfort and luxury. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The great hall fire place
Beautiful grounds, lovely soft beds and sheets
No biscuits with tea facilities! no flannels in the bathroom. cheap/small shampoo/conditioner for the cost of the rooms
The location and room was excellent. The spa was an added bonus.
Booking dinner was a farce. Invited to book a table but none were available.Complained and got a table. Arrived with two tables booked, one in each restaurant. during dinner two tables remained vacant all evening! After that dinner was poor. You really shouldn't do that to an oyster or goats cheese! Fillet steak shoud not have a piece of gristle through it. The cheese and pudding was good though.
Loverly location, lovely building with lots of history and character.
Very Poor service in the resturant.
Great countryside, good location, Comfortable room. Smashing view.
Service in the restaurants was naive and gauche. Evening meal was grossly over priced. The breakfast served poor quality food and was very over crowded. Overall, the level of service in the hotel and the cost were not in balance. The hotel seems essentially set up to cater to one off wedding parties. This was our second visit and we were disappointed enough to look for alternatives for our next visit - and found a beautiful pub close by with rooms at less than half the price of Fawsley Hall.
Everything, staff , food, location, beautiful building, I wish we could have stayed longer,
